Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that ending her marriage to ex-husband Olakunle Churchill was the best decision she made for both herself and her son. Dikeh made this statement on Sunday in response to a single mother who sought advice on dealing with life after separation.
The follower asked how Dikeh managed when her ex-husband left her and their child, prompting the actress to share her experience and perspective.
She asked, “Good morning, ma. Please, ma, I have a question. How were you able to cope when your ex-husband left you with your child?
“If there’s any advice, I’m ready to learn. I am a nobody aiming to be somebody soon.”
Correcting the lady, the actress said she left the marriage to prioritise her child’s wellbeing.
She responded, “First of all, I was the one who chose to walk away from my marriage, not the other way around. I needed to leave a difficult situation—not just for my sake, but for my child as well.
“It was the best decision I ever made.
