Raphael Onyedika Wins Club Brugge Player of the Month for September, 2024
Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika has been awarded Club Brugge’s Player of the Month for September 2024, after a series of standout performances for the Belgian giants. Onyedika, who garnered 31% of the fan vote, beat out competition from teammates Christos Tzolis and Hans Vanaken to claim the coveted award.
Throughout September, the 23-year-old midfielder was pivotal to Club Brugge’s success, controlling the tempo in midfield and helping the team secure key victories. Notably, Onyedika played a crucial role in the 3-0 wins over Cercle Brugge and KV Kortrijk, while also featuring in the hard-fought 1-1 draw with Charleroi.
His performances were not only critical in maintaining Brugge’s strong league form but also impressed fans with his ability to break up opposition play and dictate the flow of the game.
