Popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has finally addressed her extended hiatus from the film industry. In a recent Instagram post, she revealed that she needed a break to rejuvenate and recharge her creative energy.
The actress, who began her acting career at the tender age of 15, explained that decades of non-stop work had taken a toll on her. She emphasized the importance of taking time off to maintain her passion and creativity.
“I know many never understand why I take time off movies for a few years, then come back and do it again! Lol…,” Jalade-Ekeinde wrote. “When you’ve been working since you were 15, like I have… You’ll do good to Relax, Relive, Relearn and Recharge.”
