Obidient Movement Launches Advocacy, Registration Drive in Kano

Obidient Movement Northwest Prepares for Advocacy and Registration Drive in Kano

The Obidient Movement is gearing up for a significant event in Kano as part of its ongoing advocacy efforts. Dr. Yunusa Tanko, a prominent figure in the movement, announced on social media the commencement of a membership registration and advocacy campaign in the Northwest region.

The event, scheduled for tomorrow, marks the homecoming of the movement in Kano and is aimed at expanding its base both locally and globally.

In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Dr. Tanko urged supporters of the movement to join the initiative, calling it a critical step in fostering collective advocacy and increasing membership.

“Kano is loading for tomorrow’s homecoming and flag off of Advocacy for Registration Membership into the Obidient Movement Globally. Kindly join us,” Tanko wrote.

Posters accompanying the announcement showcase a lineup of speakers and stakeholders, including political and civil society leaders. The event will take place on September 30 and is expected to draw attention from Obidient supporters and sympathizers from the region.

The Obidient Movement, a political and grassroots group aligned with former presidential candidate Peter Obi, continues to advocate for political change and civic engagement across Nigeria.
