Nigerian singer Fireboy has sparked discussions about the true essence of love, sharing his belief that love is fundamentally sacrificial.In a recent interview, the 28-year-old artist expressed, “To me, love means sacrifice. I believe true love has a sacrificial nature, which I find quite messed up.”
Fireboy, who is signed to YBNL Nation, also opened up about his personal struggles with love, revealing that he doesn’t believe he’s ever experienced it. “I don’t think I’ve ever been in love,” he admitted.
The singer went on to speak highly of his relationship with his record label boss, Olamide, calling it “dynamic.”
He praised Olamide for his “emotional intelligence,” saying, “My relationship with Olamide is multifaceted. At times, he’s my CEO and business partner, and other times, he’s like a big brother.”
