Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Pledges Full Support for 95 Orphans, Promises Education, Healthcare, and Welfare Throughout His Tenure
Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has made a significant pledge to support 95 orphans residing in the state’s orphanage home, vowing to take full responsibility for their welfare during his tenure. This commitment, which covers their education, healthcare, feeding, and other essential needs, was announced on Wednesday, October 2, via the governor’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Governor Yusuf visited the orphanage as part of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary celebration in Kano. During the visit, he shared a special lunch with the children, who lost their parents and now live under the care of the state.
In the post, Governor Yusuf expressed his dedication to ensuring the well-being of the children, stating:
“While there, I announced the assumption of full responsibility for all the 95 orphans living in the facility, taking care of their education from primary to tertiary levels, healthcare services, feeding, and other social needs throughout my tenure.”
