Bobrisky caught in controversy over unpaid estate dues.
Popular Nigerian social media personality Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, is making headlines again, this time due to an unpaid estate dues controversy. The issue came to light after an Instagram blog, Naijaeverything, posted a banner listing estate dues defaulters, with Bobrisky’s name included.
The blog shared a caption that hinted Bobrisky had failed to settle his bills, stating:
“Omoh!! Bobrisky couldn’t even afford to pay his estate dues!! Dem don paste her name as one of the due defaulters!! 👀.”
The post quickly sparked reactions on social media, with some users poking fun at the situation and others defending Bobrisky. One user, @iroyinayoevents_mgt, found the public listing embarrassing, writing, “This is embarrassing nao. Writing people’s name on post bcos of dues😢.”
Others pointed to Bobrisky’s recent personal struggles, including a stint at Kirikiri prison, suggesting this may have contributed to the delay in payments. “He just came out of Kirikiri na,” user gloria_tammunoipreye commented.
Despite the mixed reactions, the situation has once again thrust Bobrisky into the spotlight, drawing both criticism and sympathy from fans. Bobrisky has yet to publicly respond to the claims.
