In a YouTube video with Futcrunch, Bale participated in a blind ranking challenge where he had to rank his top five forwards.
Bale, who played alongside Ronaldo at Real Madrid after his record-breaking transfer from Tottenham in 2013, placed the Portuguese star at the top of his list. Messi, his long-time rival in LaLiga, came in second place.
During their time together at Real Madrid, Bale and Ronaldo won several titles, including three LaLiga championships, before Bale left the club in 2022.
Bale, who shocked fans by announcing his retirement last year after representing Wales at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has reignited the Messi-Ronaldo debate with his choice.
