NECO Releases 2024 SSCE Results. The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results. A total of 1,345,807 candidates registered for the exam, and 60.55% of them achieved five credits and above in English Language and Mathematics.
This is a significant improvement from previous years and demonstrates the dedication and hard work of the candidates. NECO has also reported a notable reduction in examination malpractices. In 2024, only 8,437 cases of malpractice were recorded, compared to 12,030 in 2023, marking a decrease of 30.1%.
Despite the overall improvement, 40 schools were found to have engaged in mass cheating. NECO has vowed to take disciplinary action against the schools and individuals involved in these cases.
The release of the NECO results marks a crucial milestone for the candidates as they prepare for further education or career opportunities.
