A 21 year old man, Ebuka, was tragically killed in a shooting incident involving police officers along Owerri Road in Onitsha. The incident occurred on [Date] and has sparked outrage and calls for justice.
According to reports, Ebuka was shot in his car. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body has since been deposited at a mortuary.

In response to the incident, the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Ittam, has ordered the detention of the police patrol team members involved. Preliminary investigations have identified a police corporal as the suspected perpetrator.
The CP has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Awka for a thorough investigation. He has also urged the public to remain calm and assured that the command will ensure justice prevails.
“Further developments will be communicated,” the CP stated in a press release.
