Popular Nigerian OAP, Tacha, took to social media on Friday to express her frustration over the ongoing fuel scarcity in Lagos.
In a recent post, Tacha shared a video showcasing the unusually empty streets of Lagos on a typical Friday. She expressed her astonishment at the stark contrast to the usual bustling atmosphere of the city, attributing the change to the lack of fuel availability.
“Road clear, everywhere is free. See what the Nigerian government has turned Lagosians into. Lagosians are now inside, see. On a Friday, everywhere will be chokedful, but look at what is going on, no fuel anywhere, everywhere is so freaking free,” Tacha lamented in her post.
The fuel scarcity has indeed caused significant disruptions to daily life in the city, affecting transportation, businesses, and other essential services.
As the situation continues to unfold, many are calling on the government to address the root causes of the fuel crisis and provide solutions to alleviate the hardships faced by Nigerians.
