Activist VeryDarkMan Apologizes to Femi Falana Over ₦15m Bribery Allegation
Social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly apologized to renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, for comments he made regarding a ₦15 million bribery allegation.
During a session at the House of Representatives on Monday, September 30, Otse clarified that he did not believe Falana was involved in the bribery accusations related to Bobrisky, the EFCC, and the Nigeria Correctional Service.
Addressing the matter, he stated, “I apologize to Femi Falana. It’s unfortunate that his name was mentioned in that audio. I couldn’t believe it, and that part irritated me the most. I refuse to believe he is involved in such matters.”
Otse’s apology comes as part of efforts to clarify his earlier remarks and distance Falana from the scandal.
