Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Congratulates Minister Gboyega Oyetola on His 70th Birthday, Praises His Leadership and Contributions to Nigeria

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a message shared on social media, Sanwo-Olu praised Oyetola’s exemplary leadership and contributions to both Osun State and Nigeria at large.

In the congratulatory note, he highlighted Oyetola’s extensive experience in the private sector as a financial expert, as well as his successful tenure as the Chief of Staff and later Governor of Osun State.

He commended the Minister for continuing to provide “quality leadership” in his current role, contributing positively to President Bola Tinubu’s administration under the Renewed Hope agenda.

Sanwo-Olu also took the opportunity to wish Oyetola good health as he joins the ranks of septuagenarians, praying for God’s strength to enable him to continue his dedicated service to the country.

The Lagos Governor’s message concluded by acknowledging Oyetola’s ongoing efforts to uplift the people of Osun State and the nation through his work, both in the public sector and his current ministry.
