Nigerian Influencer Urges Israeli Military Aid Against Insecurity

Nigerian Influencer Calls for Israeli Military Intervention Amid Rising Insecurity

Nigerian social media influencer and commentator Shehu Gazali Sadiq has sparked intense debate with his recent suggestion for foreign military intervention in Nigeria.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter) on September 28, Sadiq proposed that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu deploy the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to Nigeria to combat the country’s worsening security issues, specifically targeting bandits and the terrorist group Boko Haram.

“It’s time to beg Netanyahu to deploy the IDF to Nigeria and help us eliminate bandits and Boko Haram. Our leaders are clowns,” Sadiq stated.

The comment reflects growing frustration among many Nigerians over the government’s handling of ongoing insecurity in the northern and central parts of the country.

Banditry, kidnappings, and Boko Haram insurgency have persisted, causing widespread fear and discontent. While Nigeria’s military continues to battle these threats, the call for international assistance underscores the public’s growing disillusionment with local leadership.

Sadiq’s remark, particularly his blunt reference to Nigerian leaders as “clowns,” is likely to inflame political discourse.
