Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are celebrating the arrival of their second child, a daughter named Méi June Mulaney, who was born via gestational surrogate on September 14, 2024. The couple announced the joyous news on their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday.
Munn, 44, shared heartfelt emotions in her post, revealing her gratitude toward their surrogate. “I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel,” she wrote. Munn explained that the name Méi, pronounced “may,” means “plum” in Chinese and added, “I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us.”
Mulaney, 42, added a touch of humor to his announcement, saying, “We stole so much stuff from the hospital.” He also expressed his love for their new daughter, sharing a playful video of her spitting up on him while he was burping her.

The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in July, are also parents to their son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney, 2. Their growing family comes after a challenging year for Munn, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2023. The actress underwent four surgeries, including a double mastectomy, and faced a series of treatments and procedures.
